Recognizing Inconsistencies Across the Product

As the product scaled, we noticed visual inconsistencies across different screens, including:

Disjointed UI elements: Buttons, dropdowns, and text fields varied in size, spacing, and interaction states. Color discrepancies: Multiple versions of primary and secondary colors were used without standardization.

Many patients struggled with complex plans; Kate previously hand‑wrote calendars for each patient.I designed a simple, printable calendar interface that pre‑fills treatments based on selected regimens and is easy for patients to understand at a glance.Key Features

Drag & drop dates when schedules change.

Add/remove medications on specific dates.

Add new medications to a regimen as needed.

Blackout dates (holidays, days off) automatically push in‑hospital treatments to the next valid day.

Despite its widespread use, many users have expressed dissatisfaction with its outdated interface and functionality. This case study outlines the process of redesigning Goodreads to address these pain points, focusing on improving user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design.Identified Pain Points:User feedback and research have highlighted several issues with the current Goodreads platform.
